My son has been seeing Liz for about 4 months. From the very beginning Liz started us on the PECS system to reduce my son's frustration. Since then our home life has been much more peaceful. He is also making steady progress with his speech therapy. Liz is really great to work with. She is knowledgeable and always has new ideas for us. If I have a question, she responds quickly to emails. She has never been judgmental of our situation as homeschoolers. My son has a bond with Liz that he never had with any other therapist. I would highly recommend her. She cares about children, and it shows.
Finding the right person to provide service to a child is so important. We took our son to a speech therapist after learning that he had an expressive language delay. We spent several months with that therapist and did not have much success. We found Liz, and the difference was incredible. Our daughter has since needed speech therapy, and we knew exactly where to take her. Liz has had such a positive impact on our children and our family. We will never able to thank her enough for all of the support, care, knowledge and insight that she has given us. We were very fortunate to find Liz, and can’t recommend her highly enough!

We have been coming to Blooming Speech for speech therapy for about two years now. My daughter is 4 years old and was diagnosed with PDD-NOS about 2.5 years ago. When we met Liz, Ella's speech was just coming back, after being completely lost around 14 months of age. Liz has been an exceptional speech therapist. She has not only helped my daughter's speech, she has also helped me with some of the challenges in raising a child with special needs. She has helped Ella with her social thinking, communication skills, discipline and more. Liz provides me with activities and ideas to extend the therapy lessons within our busy lives. She gives us activities to do in the car as well as at home. Ella enjoys spending time with Liz. Liz is always coming up with creative ideas to captivate Ella's attention and help her strive in her speech at the same time. Liz has been instrumental in Ella's development and growth. Her speech is improving all the time.
Our son has been in Speech Therapy since he was 2 months old. He is now 12 and has had a number of therapists over the years. He has been with Liz for about a year now and always looks forward to his session with her. We are so happy to have found her! She was able to see Seth’s strengths and cue into what motivated him almost immediately. She made a fun DVD of the two of them working together on his speech so that he could practice at home. You could see the positive give and take in each of their sessions on the DVD. Our son’s personality blossoms when he is with Liz. She continually sends home worksheets and ideas to work with when we have time. The biggest difference with Liz compared to other therapists is her love for our child and her belief in his abilities to improve in his speech. Our son Gabe has been seeing Liz for a little over a year now. During their time together, Gabe has made HUGE strides in his language skills and development. Of the things we really appreciate about Liz is her kindness and patience. Gabe really trusts her, and enjoys going to therapy. In regards to me, I appreciate how positive and often she is with her feedback. She has also helped support Gabe's educational needs by collaborating with the speech therapist at his school. Liz has been the perfect fit for our family and any chance I get, I tell people about her because she is great, and goes above and beyond my expectations for a speech therapist.
