About Us
Elizabeth Chapdelaine,
M.S. CCC-SLP
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders (1991) and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (1993) from Colorado State University. I practiced in the public schools, home-based setting, hospital and private practice settings. In those years of experience, I had the great fortune of collaborating with teams of Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Psychologists, Social Workers and teachers. This helped me to see children from a holistic perspective. I continue to collaborate with school team members and other private therapists working with the children I serve. I have also worked with the most amazing families. Parents continue to serve as a valuable resource to my treatment.
I opened Blooming Speech P.S. in 2006 when I relocated to the Pacific Northwest. I have experience treating children with mild, moderate and severe speech and language disorders. My emphasis is autism spectrum disorders, apraxia, auditory processing disorders and phonological disorders.
In my free time, I enjoy gardening, hiking, kayaking and reading.
